My whole family hated it and we never went back there again.AlanDPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00910363728370240226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232479.post-17938944887632147032014-01-26T07:53:26.379-06:002014-01-26T07:53:26.379-06:00No kidding! They had a similar set-up in some of the older bathrooms at Garner State Park, so I think it was a Texas thing. In the grand scheme of things, how much more does it cost to build a private compartment for people to do their business?Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04752379587655151211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232479.post-70777253288972800502014-01-25T18:27:04.386-06:002014-01-25T18:27:04.386-06:00I don't remember ever seeing walls that low an...I don't remember ever seeing walls that low anywhere. Personally I would prefer that they be floor-to-ceiling, with maybe a foot wide break at the top for ventilation.AlanDPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00910363728370240226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232479.post-24660542400299659722014-01-25T08:07:52.063-06:002014-01-25T08:07:52.063-06:00Thanks for sharing. We were coming back from a trip to FL and when we hit the Texas welcome station, I went in the restroom. Upon seeing the old style half-walls (walls that only go up to your knees so you can literally sit there and play patty-cakes with the person next to you), I decided to wait until I reached a more modern facility. When I went into the stall in this McDonald's, there was a seriously wide gap (like in the picture) but I seriously had to go! A man comes in and stands at the urinal that lined up with the gap in the stall and not only did I get an eyeful (Everything is bigger in Texas) the man insisted on talking about the weather for the next very uncomfortable 45 seconds.
