Between a steep hill, the wind and about three inches of water coursing down the street, those garbage cans were really picking up some speed.

Hahahahahaha!

I laugh because that very thing happened to my trash can once. I was cursing as I was chasing it down the hill in the rain, but later it seemed pretty funny!Albatrosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02156254141379602471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232479.post-86606367795973959862010-09-07T20:21:36.871-05:002010-09-07T20:21:36.871-05:00Man, nasty stuff to be out in. The IBC over in my old 'hood (at Walzem & Montgomery) apparently lost its roof. Erik & I were out in it briefly; we turned around once and backtracked because we couldn't tell how deep the water over the road was (not sure which street we were on, but in this area). Also saw a truck turned around the wrong way on I-37S just out of downtown (we were going north); reckon he hydroplaned.

Glad you got home unscathed.Sabrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13746486966764162127noreply@blogger.com
