According to insurance claims filed with both departments by residents, shots fired by four officers in pursuit of 39-year-old Harlan Hale hit doors, windows, window moldings, garage doors, an all-terrain-vehicle and a clothes dryer. No one was injured in the March 9 chase.But seriously, this sounds really bad for the police. If the report is true (heh) they fired 22 shots at a fleeing man. No indication if the man was armed, only that he was fleeing, because he had been accused of shooting at two other officers back in February. Hmm...
Because you never know what trivial bit of information may ultimately prove to be vitally important.
