I'ts really a delicious drink. I make my own version with spicy V8, Tecate, lime juice and crushed ice.Pretty much anything is an improvement on striaght buttweiser.
It was quite popular thirty odd years ago with people who didn't like the taste of beer, but liked drinking it socially.
It's pretty common in Canada to see people drop a couple of ounces of Clamato juice into a beer.I'd say one or two beer drinkers in a hundred might be drinking it that way, particularly in the northern prairies.
