I once had this guy on my blogroll because he seemed to know what he was talking about when it came to the technical aspects of guns, but dropped him because when it comes to gun politics he seemed either clueless or deliberatly misleading.

Having spoken with Fred Thompson twice, albeit briefly, he didn't come close to budging the BS Meter let alone pegging it and I am firm in the belief that he is 2nd Amendment savvy.
ReplyDeleteNowadays, belonging to the NRA might be construed as reason to NOT approve someones stance on gun control, but the Fudds don't get it and probably never will.
Supposedly Thompson only Rates a "C" for gun owners (I need to find the link again) The rest of the repubs are on record supporting a new AWB and other anti second measures.
