I'd imagine whatever recipe works for rabbit would also do quite well for cats.
My grandfather said he ate cat once, and he found the meat to be stringy. I hope he was talking about the cougar he shot and not some alley cat.
From what I have read, carnivores are generally not as good to eat as herbivores. I have no personal experience to draw upon, however.
There were a lot of Indians and mountain men who liked eating an occasional mountain lion; they said it had a bit more flavor.Bear and swine are omnivores that prefer meat when available, and they taste just fine.
Yes, but these days most swine are mostly plant-fed. Probably why wild hog tastes a lot different.
