ReplyDeleteErm, music for a rainy day? Or music for when you wish it would rain?
ReplyDelete"Lizzie and the Rainman" is my favorite Tanya Tucker song, by the way. I know these two aren't really about literal rain, but Gordon Lightfoot's "Rainy Day People" and Waylon's "Rainy Day Woman" are great songs too.
Interesting. Any special reason you decided on a rain theme?
ReplyDeleteIt rained on me while working yesterday morning. These are on a list I made by searching "rain" in my mp3 directory.
ReplyDeletePistolero: They don't have to be literally about rain to make this list. Just having "rain" in the title gets them there. Although I did have to delete out "brain" and "train" songs.
ReplyDeleteI first heard "Lizzie" when I was a young teenager on a friend's 8-track tape. I had never heard it on the radio and it became one of my favorite songs right away.
Wot? You deleted ST's "Trip at the Brain"?
ReplyDeleteI don't have any of their stuff.
