I saw on one of the weird food shows, a fellow bring a skinned and cleaned 'coon out of his freezer to ready it for cooking. I thought it looked enough like a cat that I'm not interested in eating one.
I've seen plenty of skinned coons before, because I've skinned them. This is the first one I've ever seen that was just hairless, though. I'm guessing his skin wouldn't be worth much.
I don't think I'd eat one either, unless it was that or starve. However, I think I could eat a coon before a possum. Possums are just so greasy when you skin them. Ick.
