I like my XD40 so much, that for the first time, I wish there were some good lasergrip sights for it. (If someone else already makes them, I don't know about it). In the Crimson Trace forum, it has been stated that they are looking seriously at the XD series, but there are no firm plans for development...yet. So hop on over to the Crimson Trace request page and vote for the XD series.
And you can join Free Lasergrips Drawing while you're there, for a chance to win Lasergrips for one of your other guns.
I saw an XD at the range that had a replacement guide rod that contained a laser. I don't have an XD so it wasn't a big deal for me at the time, but it was kind of a neat idea. Sorry I don't remember the brand.
ReplyDeleteLaserMax makes the replacement guide rod laser. Crimson Trace is rolling our a rear of grip attachment for the Glock that seems to work OK, only had a couple of chances to play with it at the NRA convention, Lone Wolf had a model as did Crimson Trace. The bad news is that it fits up in the area of the Glock that the XD used for a grip safty. (One of the reasons I bought an XD byb the by) The Glock add on is Very small and doesn't seem to affect grip angle, at least for me. Perhaps they, Crimson Trace can modifiy this to some sort of wrap around grip with finger grooves or such.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and good shooting
