When I reflect on the many groups who were popular during my formative years, I sometimes think I got cheated. Both this and the other one ("You Do Run") are going on my general favorites playlist.
Ignore the gratuitous prop-guitar smashing at the end. It's just silly.*
*I don't know who they think they are, smashing a perfectly good guitar.
I don't remember that band, but that's a pretty cool song.
ReplyDeleteI guess I didn't word my post clearly. I didn't mean to say they were an old band from when I was younger, I meant to say they are both way cooler and hotter than any all-female band I can remember from back then. Also their music is way better. This is a current band. They're from Norway.
ReplyDeleteI liked how the girl pulled her face off of, well, her face. Catchy tune.
ReplyDeleteI have trouble imagining them in twenty years or so, showing up on some "reality" TV shows, trying to reclaim some of their lost fame.
ReplyDeleteHey - Just for the record: That guitar was no good. It was already broken - we never smash perfectly good guitars!!! Thanks for all the good words. Keep on rocking y´all!
ReplyDeleteLove, Rocket Queen - Cocktail Slippers.
Hey, thanks for the comment, Rocket Queen! But that's why I called it a "prop" guitar. It looked like there was already something wrong with it before being smashed.
