Texas Courthouses May Become Somewhat Safer...

In the wake of the courthouse shooting in Tyler, Texas, the Tyler Morning Telegraph reports:
"A bill Texas senators unanimously passed Tuesday could allow district attorneys, county attorneys and criminal district attorneys as well as federal judges to carry concealed handguns inside courthouses for protection."
The report also notes that "the bill passed out of the House with an amendment to add bailiffs."

They might also want to add an amendment that the bailiffs should have access to a centerfire rifle capable of defeating body armor.
