Since the recent fox sighting, and since I have never knowingly heard gray fox vocalizations, I hunted up some recordings to see what they sound like. Here's a good site that has some: Cat and Dog-like Mammals - Upstate New York Wildlife. Several other animals in the cat and dog families are there also.
I was looking on the net for sounds of animals and came across your site. Thanks so much for the link. I heard something being attacked early this morning and wanted to compare the Gray Fox sounds. I see the gray Fox all the time but never really hear them. I do have some great photos of them though. Thanks again.
